At Parque Da Floresta, it really is up to you how much or how little you do, Why not unwind and relax all day by one of the pools or get active with a range of outdoor activities, such as cycling or tennis, horse riding, mountain biking, jeep safaris, boat cruises, canoeing, windsurfing or exploring the countryside.
Tennis
There are four floodlit tennis courts with a choice of surface from either a traditional hard court or an artificial grass court making Parque Da Floresta the perfect destination for tennis-based holidays. Residential tennis courses are also available with unlimited tennis for individuals, couples and families.
Fitness
The Spa Floresta gymnasium is fully equipped with a range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment and a selection of weights. Personal trainers and fitness assessments are also available on request. You may prefer to try an exercise or relaxation class in the air-conditioned studio. Class descriptions and details are outlined below.
Aero Tone (Cardio)
Music and choreographed moves combined with toning exercises give a total body workout.
Cardio Boxing (Cardio)
A complete all body work out, developed from a range of self-defence disciplines, using a combination of arm and leg movements.
Step (Cardio)
A choreographed workout on a platform. Great for cardio vascular training, but also one of the best workouts for thighs and bums.
Circuit Class (Cardio)
A combination of cardiovascular and resistance training, ideal for all levels of fitness. Participants are able to choose their own workout pace.
Run Walk Club (Cardio)
A perfect way to start the day, jogging and power walking in the beautiful countryside. Followed by 15 minutes of “Abs & Stretch” in the studio.
Body Push (Toning)
A total body workout, using a combination of barbells, dumbbells and weight to tone and condition muscles raising metabolic rate for rapid fat burning.
Lift Training (Toning)
A non-impact, resistance-training programme, which utilises barbells and adjustable weights to help improve muscular strength and endurance. (For safety reasons, all students must attend our preliminary introductory class. Please book with our instructors.)
Pilates (Toning)
Pilates exercises train muscle groups with smooth continuous movements creating a sleek toned body.
Yoga (Holistic)
An individual form of exercise concentrating on posture, encouraging improved flexibility, breathing development and relaxation.
